Southern Convention Services, Inc. (SCS) was incorporated in 1987 in Huntsville, AL, to provide trade show support services. Since that time SCS has grown into a multi-million dollar company that serves a variety of local, national and international clients. In 1995, SCS, after outgrowing its original facility, purchased ten acres of land in Madison, Alabama, and built a 52,000 square foot facility. This facility is strategically located one mile from the Huntsville International Airport and Interstate 565. In 1997 continued growth of SCS’s custom exhibit business and addition of a graphic service group resulted in SCS adding additional office space and a building on to our existing warehouse. In 2000 SCS added additional office and warehouse space, adding a technical service group as well as expanding our graphic service business with additional equipment. SCS also increased its production capacity by integrating a CNC router into its custom construction department. In 2004 the original founders Curt Brannon, and Bud Nobles retired and were replaced by two new owners, Bryan Boyd and Dean Dexter. Both Bryan (President) and Dean (VP of Design) had worked at SCS for a number of years and had already been responsible for significant growth and new product offerings. Under this new management SCS continues to grow and expand its business and clientele by providing the human and physical assets that meet our customer’s needs. Bryan and Dean are committed to maintaining the level of customer service that has been responsible for SCS’s continued growth.
